The idea
For a long time, the owners had wanted to bring relaxation and vacation into their home. This gave rise to the idea of building a swimming pool in their own garden. An important aspect of the planning was to create a harmonious overall picture of the pool, garden and the architecture of the house. The pool had to match the style of the house, integrate perfectly into the existing garden and appear inconspicuous from the outside. This requirement was met perfectly. The result exceeds all expectations - and is anything but inconspicuous.
The implementation
With its straight lines, simplicity and modern design, the 10 x 4 x 1.5 meter pool, lined with PVC foil, blends harmoniously into the overall picture. It is also beautifully reflected in the floor-to-ceiling glass windows and sliding doors of the extension to the house, making it appear even larger. The solar system on the roof also supplies the electricity for the pool heat pump, among other things. Together with the roller cover from Rollo Solar, this saves energy and allows the owners to use the pool for as long as possible throughout the year. The cover also features special support brackets for a higher water level and disappears under the wooden cover, which blends in with the color of the exterior tiles when not in use.

The technology
The company Pool-Konzept GmbH & Co. KG was commissioned. When it came to the pool's technical equipment, it was important to the client that it was clear and easy to operate, quiet and energy-saving. For this reason, a speed-controlled BADU Prime Eco VS pool pump from SPECK Pumpen was installed. Thanks to the highly efficient permanent magnet motor, the pool pump can be set to different operating modes (filtering, heating, partial load operation or backwashing). This allows the pump performance to be optimally adapted to the respective operating conditions. As a result, only as much energy as necessary and as little energy as possible is consumed. In combination with the swimming pool cover, this is a real energy-saving miracle. For pool enjoyment with a clear conscience.
