The idea
Outdoor pools and lakes continue to enjoy great popularity. Especially in the summer months, they are such a magnet for visitors that you have to share the water with a large number of other bathers. Swimming, playing and relaxing in peace? Not an option. This gave rise to the idea of building a swimming pool in their own garden. An important aspect of the planning was to create a harmonious overall picture of pool and garden, whereby the pool should not take up too much space. As the client is a very talented craftsman, he wanted to build his pool himself. He took on the task and mastered it with flying colors. However, there was one major challenge that arose during the pool construction project: the precise application of the liner. Here, the client enlisted the expert support of swimming pool builder Stefan Bachmann from Pumpen-Schopf GmbH. Thanks to his many years of experience and his excellent knowledge transfer, the liner was installed without any problems. The whole family is now enjoying the modern pool, where they can swim, splash and relax together.
The implementation
The 6 x 3.5 x 1.5 meter polystyrene pool blends harmoniously into the overall look of the garden. The sand-colored hanging liner makes for bright turquoise pool water and the large corner steps, which allow easy access, are a real eye-catcher. In addition to the look, the client also placed great importance on energy efficiency when building the pool. Therefore, only products that contribute to efficient pool operation were installed. For the circulation pump, the choice fell on the BADU Prime Eco VS from SPECK. This is a variable-speed pool pump that consumes significantly less energy than a conventional swimming pool pump and is therefore more efficient. To ensure that the pool water does not lose heat, a roller protection cover from BAC was installed, which saves up to 70 % on energy costs. The pool cover also prevents the ingress of dirt. And the safety aspect is not neglected either. It was important to the client and his wife that the children could play safely in the garden despite the pool.

The technology
The client opted for the BADU Prime Eco VS circulation pump from SPECK Pumpen so that the family can enjoy crystal-clear pool water at all times. Thanks to the different performance levels, the pump can be optimally adapted to the respective operating conditions (filtering, heating, night operation, backwashing, etc.). This means that it only consumes as much energy as necessary and as little as possible. In addition, the BADU Prime Eco VS is whisper-quiet in operation compared to conventional pool pumps. This means that the whole family can enjoy their time in and around the pool undisturbed. After intensive research, the BADU OmniTronic was chosen to ensure that the backwash runs fully automatically. This replaces the manual backwash valve and makes daily pool operation easier. In addition to the fully automatic backwash function, the BADU OmniTronic offers additional benefits, such as control of the filter times, regulation of the pool level, heating control via solar or heat pump and the option of controlling the release for the dosing and photovoltaic system. The new version of the BADU OmniTronic also includes a flood alarm, which enables the technical room to be monitored for flooding. However, the absolute highlight and equally popular with all family members is the BADU JET Primavera counter-current system. The flow rate of the system can be individually adjusted using two swivel nozzles. Whether gentle waves, a refreshing wellness program or a powerful current to improve fitness and condition - the BADU JET Primavera fulfils the wishes of the whole family. It is also equipped with an integrated LED ambient light, which creates unique lighting effects and provides atmospheric lighting, especially in the evening.
