The idea
One of the customers' great passions is swimming. In order to be able to pursue their hobby at home in the future, the ageing pool was to be renovated. One of the challenges here was to adapt the new pool exactly to the dimensions of the old pool. The pool also had to be as useful as possible for the owners. And this despite the small garden and consequently small pool area. Not easy requirements, but the pool builder mastered them perfectly. The new pool blends harmoniously into the garden and is also a visual highlight. Thanks to the built-in counter-current system, sporty swimming is not neglected either, meaning that the pool is used every day and provides a lot of pleasure.
The implementation
The customer's old pool was replaced with a 5 x 2.70 meter prefabricated pool made of polypropylene. With its straight lines, simplicity and modern design, it fits perfectly into the small garden. Energy efficiency was an important aspect of the pool renovation. It was important to the clients that products were installed that would contribute to resource-saving pool operation. When it came to the pool pump, they therefore chose the BADU Delta Eco VS from SPECK. This is a variable-speed pool pump that consumes significantly less energy than a conventional swimming pool pump and is therefore more efficient. As part of the pool renovation, the owners extended the existing photovoltaic system. The environmentally friendly electricity generated is used to operate the pool pump and heat the pool water using a heat pump. A sliding hall from Vöroka was installed so that the pool water does not lose heat. This also has a positive effect on water consumption through evaporation, which is reduced by around 80%. The hall also protects against the effects of the weather and contamination. A special feature of the enclosure is that it can be submerged. This means that the owners can enjoy their pool to the full, even in windy and bad weather. Another highlight of the pool is the powerful BADU JET Turbo premium counter-current system. It transforms the pool not only into a fitness oasis, but also a wellness oasis. Thanks to the adjustable power, the current can be set individually, so that everything is possible, from wellness and leisure fun to relaxation or competitive swimming. To complete the overall look of the pool oasis, a beautiful and contemporary pool surround made of thermowood was installed. It took a total of six months from pool planning to implementation.
When planning the pool, aspects such as environmental friendliness and sustainability were very important to us. We therefore deliberately opted for the speed-controlled BADU Delta Eco VS pool pump, which has enabled us to significantly reduce our annual energy requirements compared to a conventional swimming pool pump!<<
The technology
Vogel Pool GmbH was responsible for both planning the pool and installing the swimming pool technology. In addition to sustainability, the focus of this project was also on reducing energy costs during pool operation. The BADU Delta Eco VS speed-controlled pool pump from SPECK Pumpen was therefore installed. Thanks to the highly efficient permanent magnet motor, the pool pump can be set to different operating modes. This allows it to be optimally adapted to the respective operating conditions (filtering, heating, night operation, backwashing, etc.) and saves both electricity and money. The BADU Delta Eco VS also impresses with its whisper-quiet operating noise. The patented fan wheel with associated fan cover reduces the operating noise by approx. 8 dB(A) at an average speed of 2000 rpm. This corresponds to a subjectively perceived halving of the operating noise level, so that builders can swim and relax undisturbed thanks to what is probably the quietest air-cooled pool pump on the market. The energy-efficient BADU JET Turbo counter-current system ensures a natural swimming experience. With its flow-optimized and efficient propeller technology, the system achieves a flow rate of up to 245 m³/h. The output can be regulated and specifically adjusted by remote control or by means of an integrated piezo button. It is an upgrade for any pool and offers an endless swimming experience without the need to turn. The BADU JET Turbo can also be used for relaxation and massage.

The small family business Vogel Pool GmbH from Worms has been active in swimming pool construction for over 20 years. Vogel Pool GmbH supports its customers with in-depth expertise from the planning stage through to the realization of the pool. The company specializes in fixed-shell pools and one-piece pools made of polypropylene, fibreglass and ceramic. Thanks to the large indoor exhibition and a fully functional demo pool, customers can get an idea of the various materials, pool shapes and equipment options on site.
