The idea
Ever since he was a child, the owner has associated a pool with freedom, vacations and moments of happiness. Now he enjoys this feeling every morning when he looks out of the window of his house at his new pool. But he doesn't just benefit mentally from the recreational oasis in his garden. He also appreciates the regenerative properties of the water. As a keen swimmer, at some point he no longer felt like going to the public swimming pool to train. He wanted to be able to swim in his own garden whenever he felt like it. By building his own pool, the owner can now do his fitness training every day and relieve tension, joints and tendons. As a training partner, he had the BADU JET Turbo counter-current system installed, which transforms the pool into a small fitness and wellness oasis at the touch of a button. The idyllic view of his own garden and the surrounding nature from the edge of the pool provides relaxing moments. Here he can enjoy the wonderful peace and quiet.
The implementation
The new pool forms the center of the garden. The 8 x 4 meter liner pool is built into the patio and connects it to the garden. With its simple design and the wooden look of the terrace, the pool blends harmoniously into the overall picture of the flowering garden. The client decided against installing access steps in order to maximize the space for swimming in the pool. The highlight of the pool is located at the end of the pool: the BADU JET Turbo counter-current system from SPECK. It creates a wide, powerful current, just like in a natural body of water, which flows evenly around the body and is almost impossible to swim through. Seven different performance levels with a flow rate of up to 245 m³/h can be set using the remote control or integrated piezo buttons. In summer, the owner uses the counter-current system every day for training and active relaxation.

The technology
In addition to the BADU JET Turbo, the pool is also equipped with other SPECK technology. The pool water treatment is controlled by SPECK's BADU Blue Pro. The intelligent pool control system enables reliable, time-saving and centralized control of all pool components. It takes over the daily tasks of pool water care, simplifies maintenance and always ensures efficient, individual and therefore cost-saving disinfection of the pool water. The control options include not only water treatment and care with measuring, control and dosing technology, but also attractions, lighting and other functions such as controlling the pool heating and cover. All of this can be conveniently controlled via a cell phone app. In conjunction with the pool control system, the filter system is regularly backwashed using the BADU Omni actuator. A fully automatic and therefore time-saving alternative to the manual backwash valve. The BADU Delta Eco VS pool pump, which can be easily regulated remotely with the pool control unit, ensures crystal-clear pool water and lasting, unclouded bathing fun. The premium circulation pump from SPECK is equipped with a patented fan wheel and fan cover that significantly reduce operating noise. At maximum output, a sound pressure level of 65dB(A) is achieved, which is roughly equivalent to a conversation at room volume. The BADU Delta Eco VS is powered by a powerful and extremely efficient permanent magnet motor, which is even more efficient. When controlling the motor, you can choose between constant motor power and constant speed. Depending on preference, varying speeds achieve a constant motor power input and output with higher pump pressure. In addition to energy consumption, this also minimizes operating costs, ensures a long service life and the best results in terms of water quality.
